What Full Camp Delivery Actually Means

What does full camp delivery actually mean?

A workforce camp is not a row of dormitory boxes. It is a small settlement: accommodation, administration, sanitation, kitchen, storage, medical and security, all served by one water, power and drainage network. Full delivery means the manufacturer supplies the buildings and the interfaces between them, so the camp comes together on site as one system rather than as a pile of separate orders that only meet for the first time in the mud.

That distinction matters because most camp problems are interface problems. A dormitory that arrives perfect but cannot connect to the camp's water and power without rework is not a delivered building; it is a problem deferred to the worst possible moment.

Where are Wanbang's production bases?

Wanbang operates five production bases with a combined built-up area of about 120,000 square metres. The group head office is in Fuzhou, with manufacturing in Foshan (Gaoming) and Fujian (Zhangzhou). Five bases let a large camp order be split across production lines and still ship against one specification, which protects lead time on projects that need hundreds or thousands of units.

The sites hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and EU CE coverage, which is the paperwork buyers' compliance teams ask for before a camp order is released.

Which product lines carry a camp?

Two flagship lines do most of the work. The expandable container house, a twin-wing unit in 20 ft, 30 ft and 40 ft footprints, opens on site from a flat transport envelope and becomes a finished room in minutes. The capsule house range, in the H0, H7-1 and H11 variants, serves living and hospitality camps where the brief asks for more than a place to sleep. Both lines share the same structural interfaces, so a dormitory, an office, a clinic and a store connect to the same services without custom adaptors.

What does the factory actually do before the units ship?

Pre-integration is what shortens the site program. On recorded projects, units have shipped with water and electrical systems already installed, and with restroom, water and power pre-integrated, so fit-out that used to happen on site moved into the workshop. The gain is not only speed: work done in the factory is inspected in the factory, under lights, before anything leaves.

Plan the camp's utility runs, water, power and drainage, at the layout stage. Units that arrive pre-integrated join the camp network without rework; units that arrive blank turn the whole site into a wiring job.

How does a camp stay consistent across functions?

The modular system integrates dormitories, ablution blocks, kitchens, dining halls, laundries, clinics, security cabins, warehouses and recreation buildings on one frame, wall and service interface. A camp therefore scales by adding modules rather than by redesigning, and a function that is needed in week two but not week one can arrive later and still plug in.

What is fixed by the product, and what is set per site?

The unit, its envelope and its service connections are fixed by the manufacturer. The camp network, the water source, the drainage field, the power generation, the road layout and the gate position are set by the site's own assessment, the local code and the client's requirements. A good supplier is explicit about which list it owns, because a camp that arrives expecting the client to have solved its water source rarely does.

Frequently asked questions

Is a workforce camp just dormitories?

No. A camp that only provides beds loses people. The functions around the bed, sanitation, food, medical and security, are what decide whether a workforce stays for the length of the project.

Can one module type serve several functions?

Yes. Because the shell, frame and service interfaces are shared, the same module becomes a dormitory, an office or a clinic by what is fitted inside it, which simplifies spares and maintenance across the camp.

Does Wanbang hold the certifications buyers ask for?

Yes. The production system carries ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and EU CE coverage.
