Why this decision trips up good projects Most project managers order a modular site office exactly once per project, under time pressure, and find out at delivery what they should have asked at quotation. The unit is too small for the site team, the meeting room is missing, the toilet block was assu...

Expandable container housing is designed to be transported in a compact folded configuration and expanded on site into a much larger living or working area, and it can be lifted again when the work front moves. For mining camps and remote projects, the choice between expandable, flat pack and fixed...

Why run two flagship lines instead of one? A camp brief is rarely one thing. Five Wanbang camps, five climates, five different sets of specifications. A camp in the humid steel belt of West Africa fails for different reasons than a camp on the edge of the Atacama Desert, and a camp built for a tropical nickel island is not specified the same way as one standing in the heat...

Fire Safety in Container Workforce Camps: What to Specify Before You Buy The fire performance of a container workforce camp is decided long before the units reach site — in the panel core, the floor build-up and the electrical installation. Wanbang flat-pack container houses are built with c...

The honest answer first: no serious manufacturer can quote you a real price from a search result, because the unit price is only one of six cost blocks in a container house project. The total landed cost of buying container houses from China = factory unit price (FOB) + ocean freight + customs clea...
